We believe ownership should give people meaningful control over the tools they purchase. We also believe openness should not require creators to surrender authorship, compensation, or the right to establish reasonable boundaries around how their work is reproduced and commercialized.

Technology should support human understanding rather than replace it. The same principle applies to AI. Mimic Labs may use AI as a research, learning, debugging, comparison, or organizational tool, but not as an unsupervised substitute for engineering judgment, creative authorship, or human responsibility.
